Planning Board approves three township property subdivision swaps

NJ MANCHESTER — Planning board approves three township land subdivisions for property exchanges. The Manchester Township Planning Board unanimously backed three linked land-swap applications designed to consolidate township holdings and create developable lots meeting R-40 residential standards. Township Engineer Mat Wilder testified that the subdivisions will allow Manchester to exchange property with an adjacent owner identified as H4 LLC, with the township retaining valuable land on Route 70.
Board Attorney Joseph Coronato noted that resolutions were adopted the same night as applications, an expedited process required by a deal necessitating closing before the end of February. The board also unanimously approved permanent speed humps and an exit gate at Leisure Knoll and voted 6-1 to recommend an ordinance revision affecting multi-family developments in CAFRA zones.
