Planning Board approves Hope Chapel mixed-use development with residential and childcare components

NJ MANCHESTER — Planning Board approves 14.74-acre Hope Chapel mixed-use development. Chairperson William Barron and the board voted unanimously to approve the major site plan featuring 87 townhomes, 17 affordable rental apartments, and a 22,400-square-foot childcare facility with capacity for 341 children, with conditions including commercial closure by 10 p.m. and six-foot childcare fencing. Board Attorney Joseph Coronato and engineer Mat Wilder secured compliance with Pinelands Commission requirements.
The board also unanimously approved a Kozek Development residential subdivision on Lawrence Avenue with variance relief for topography and a one-year environmental review extension.
