NJ MANCHESTER — Manchester Planning Board unanimously adopts Fair Share Housing Plan amendment following settlement with Hovson Heritage Minerals. The revised plan designates 2,450 dwelling units at the Hovson site, including 332 affordable units, and adds housing sites at Parkwood Square, South Hope Chapel, and Ridgeway Boulevard parcels to replace an Ocean County open-space purchase. Board member Michelle Manzella expressed concern about density and timeline impacts.
The board also unanimously approved four related ordinances updating cluster development regulations, affordable housing requirements, and zoning designations; one ordinance was postponed to April 6.
