NJ MANCHESTER — Manchester Planning Board advances master plan reexamination with zoning restrictions and solar plan. Chairwoman Felicia Finn led the board in voting 6-0 to recommend the comprehensive policy overhaul to the Council after more than a year of deliberation. The reexamination proposes restricting townhome development, requiring private stormwater wells, promoting rooftop solar installations, and authorizing studies of potential redevelopment areas.

Board Attorney Joseph Coronato, Jr. cautioned that specific redevelopment proposals will require Planning Board review before implementation. The board voted unanimously to approve four applications, including Heritage Solar Farm memorialization and Presidential Gardens dog park and speed bump installation.
