NJ MANCHESTER — Manchester Environmental Commission schedules cleanup, will address tower and lake concerns. The five-member commission held its March 24 regular meeting, approving prior minutes and scheduling an April 12 Earth Day cleanup from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Multiple residents voiced concerns about a communications tower being built in Roosevelt City and the deteriorating condition of Harry Wright Lake, which they described as heavily silted and damaged by vehicle traffic.
The commissioners agreed to draft a memo to Council conveying these concerns, and Commission Secretary Amanda Kisty coordinated next steps for a possible naturalist study of the lake.
